Here at PiciLabs, our research has lead us to develop something we now call the “Sales Potential Quotient” or “SPQ”, for short.
What is SPQ?
The Sales Potential Quotient is a snapshot of a sales professional’s skill level. Sometimes, we are unknowingly limited by a lapse in our sales skills that we are unaware exists. These “blind spots” tend to decrease our ability to function at our full sales potential.
Everyone, even the best in sales, need to self-evaluate their skills from time to time, as we all have room to improve.
Great sale people, although successful, can often feel like they’ve reached their limit. Taking the next steps in a sales career can be intimidating and require a knowledge of where to improve skills. On the other hand, many sales people at the top of their game can feel worn down from all the hard work and would like to know if there is a better way to do things.
For those new to the game, they might like to evaluate current skills before jumping in and investing in training. This kind of guidance is important before taking the next steps as they can save time, money, and frustration on failed ventures and ineffective training.
There are also those in the middle of the road, as far as sales results. Sometimes things are great, sometimes not so much. An evaluation of sales skills can help them become more consistent in their success and cash flow by improving their skills.
